Iraq Postpones Vote on Bill Including Death Penalty For Same-Sex Acts

It is unbelievable to think, but Iraq has a bill proposed (that was intended to be voted on April 15, but it has been delayed), which includes provisions that would include the death penalty or life imprisonment for same-sex relations.

Unfortunately, criminal statutes regarding same-sex individuals and couples has existed in various countries, including our own.  Hopefully more countries will decriminalize same-sex couple’s activities and/or individuals as well as removing these kinds of criminal statutes from their penal codes.
